What we collect
When you send a part request or message we collect your name, phone number and/or email, your message, and which parts or car you asked about. We also keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address to stop spam — we never store the address itself.
Why we use it
Only to answer your request, arrange the sale or collection of parts, and keep a record of what we sold. We never sell your details or send marketing.
How long we keep it
Requests are kept for up to 24 months after they are closed, then anonymised, unless we must keep sales records longer by law.
WhatsApp, phone and maps
If you tap a WhatsApp or call button, your conversation happens on WhatsApp or your phone network and their privacy terms apply. The map on our contact page is provided by Google and only loads if you choose to show it. We count taps on the WhatsApp and call buttons (without any personal data) to see which cars people are interested in.
Cookies
The public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Staff who sign in to the admin area use a single login cookie.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us at drmautoparts@yahoo.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
